Where can I find information in regards to Alberta Health Care and Services they can give me?

What I am looking for is the following: I was told by my doctor I need to lose a lot of weight before they do surgery on my back. If they did it now I could be paralysis. Plus being this large I might have to have emergency surgery if the disc slips more. The weight loss HAS to be done and in a quick and healthy manner. I want to know since Alberta Health Care will pay for Gastric Byp, will they pay for me to do the Dr. Bernstein Diet?
