Cold War Russian Advances in Germany if it went Hot?

Doing a research thing on the Cold War and exactly what would happen if it went hot. If I did, and remained a conventional, non-nuclear, fight exactly where and with what force would the Russians attack Germany? What would the primary NATO targets be and opening objectives? Any help would be most appreciated.
