Is my puppies breathing Normal?

my 8wk old great dane/boxer is breathing almost radidy at night. He is fine during the day for naps and breathes fine, but as soon as we lie down for bed he will deeply exhale and breathe fast! My vet said this was fine, but it worries me. Help? Anyone else with this?
