What guitar do you recommend?

I play alot of Metallica, Guns n' Roses, AC/DC, alot of metal and clic rock. I have a really crappy Fender Starcaster, no, not Stratocaster, it's a fake Strat so it's called a Starcaster, one of Fender's older cheaper model's. I want to save up for a really good guitar, because i'm sick of playing a shitty guitar. But not too expensive, preferably under $700. If you could recommend one and give a link to that guitar then that would be appreciated! Thanks
