When you listen to a Metal album, do you like it when... ?

It depends on the band and the similar sound in each song. For instance, I love Behemoth, especially their album Demigod. Most of the songs are between 3 and 4 minutes, and are basically "PUMMELING RIFF, DOUBLE B, RARGH!" but I love the whole sound, so it's alright for me. I'm not a big fan of Reign In Blood, though. It just doesn't do anything for me. So, to answer your question, yes and no. Depends on the band. I like variety in any band, but with similar sound-ness, it depends on the band/album.
