The Parking Brake light in my car doesn't turn off?

yes you can fix this yourself, go under the dash next to the steering column (steering wheel) look right above the brake pedal look for a switch (to find this) try to push back and forth the brake pedal , there should be a switch or sensor that controlling that light in your dashboard. if the switch or sensor is not damaged. then its time to bring it to the dealer for further troubleshooting. early model car now a days is all controlled by the complex computer system.
