My English is not good and I have an ignment , I do not know the stuff that I have wrote is?
No, it would not be helpful to administer either TSH or TSH-RH. The experiment proves that the lack of the hormone T3 or T4 is not the reason Necturus could not metamorphose. Therefore, even if the thyroid gland produces T3 or T4, it is not going to affect Necturus’s metamorphosis. Consequently, administering TSH or TSH-RH is not going to affect Necturus’s metamorphosis either, because TSH’s main job is to increase the amount of T3 and T4 by stimulating the thyroid gland to produce these two hormones. Similarity, administering TSH-RH is useless because its main function is to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce TSH.
