Looking for the correct Artist of Lovely Day! I've searched but i don't know who sang the version i love :(

It's not Luther Vandross, i tried that one... Bill Withers comes up in a lot of searches but i'm having trouble downloading it for some reason, and Kirk Franklin comes up a lot too. The version i want is sung by a man, only him, no other artists featured. Who did the original? And if you name a version, please include the year it was released if you can please, i'd be very grateful. Thanks a lot guys :)
