B&A: I'm preparing a book of short stories for my four-year-old cousin, how does this sound?

I like your writing, but I'm not entirely sure this would be for a children's book. It seems a bit more... complex(?) than what a child would read. Maybe more of a young adult book. A teen book or something. The writing itself is simple and more like a children's book. But when I read it, I'm not seeing a children's book. Maybe young teen?
