Am i ready for a tb? or what?

I would start with something not as high energy but if the TB is what you want then I would be looking for one that is not directly off the racetrack and is easy to ride with good ground manners. I would also look for a little older horse. between 10-16. Thats the best for your first horse. My first horse was 19 years old but I was only 10. Its totally different really taking care of a horse rather than having lessons all the time. You would like a horse that will teach you, not one that you have to train. Hope this helps!!
